The Garmin Nüvi 3790T’s coolest feature is its slim design. On 9 mm thick, it’s about the same as a standard pencil. With its slim feature, I never had a problem for its storage. Every space is enough to put the 3790T. I can put it anywhere including my belt bag and my hand bags.
Another cool 3790T’s cool feature is its dual orientation capabilities. The 4.3” screen allows you to view the display both vertically and horizontally. This allows for easy grip for hand-held use and greater view for car use. This variable function is maximized by its rechargeable lithium-ion battery, so no worry if you are going to use it by foot or commute, away from the power source.
On a more functional side, the Nüvi 3790T comes with unique and advanced routing capabilities: the TrafficTrends™ and myTrends™. These features are totally free. No subscription needed and extra fees.
The trafficTrends™ monitors traffic flows. It allows me to avoid any stressful and time-consuming road traffics.
MyTrends is a personalized feature. If you saved your regular destinations on the “Favorites”, over time, the 3790T will start predict your next destinations even without telling it.
Other Nüvi 3790T’s amazing features are the following:
- Voice activated navigation. The Nüvi 3790T doesn’t just inform you your location on voice. It also accepts commands through voice as well. Just start the 3790T voice command and your eyes and hands are ready to concentrate on the road.
- Hands-free calling compatibility. The Nüvi 3790T also function as a cellphone. It is made possible by its integrated Bluetooth and built-in microphone and speaker. Just integrate it with your Bluetooth phone and your navigation device is ready to accept calls.
- Lane identifier. The 3790T provides you the correct lane and view of all the intersections. So no more guessing games on the road.
- CityXplorer. This optional feature not only guides your way throughout the city, it also provides you access on bus stops, subway stations and other mass transportations.
