When I went to college, laptop is what I needed the most. This is where I do my projects, feasibility studies and where I keep notes. Though it has been a hard time for me to get the best, I still know which are the best in the market that will fit everyone needs.
PERFORMANCE
The chart below indicates the CPU and its battery life.
In the performance level of a laptop, we should consider on how we will use it. Is it for video and music editing, paper works, researching, presentations or other stuff we might need? Though the higher the CPU, the more suitable it will be for us because it’s faster.
DESIGN, USABILITY & PORTABILITY
The chart at the left indicates the screen size, hard disk size, weight, USB ports (we really need this), memory card slots, and its video processor. If the laptop is lighter, it is better for us, though we should reconsider its function before buying it.
VERDICT
Buying a new laptop for college is great. But consider everything before buying one, it should fit your lifestyle, study habits and the budget you have for it. You don’t need a big budget for a good laptop. Like me, I just bought the ASUS Eee PC 1215b because it suits everything I need. I’m not a heavy-user and I only need it for research and its very light. Just consider everything before buying one before you end up buying a new one because it didn’t fit what you need.
